Our Story

Many years ago, a little boy stood on a chair in his grandpa’s kitchen watching in awe the creation of his culinary magic. Gathered were other family members, working together in this evening ritual of love and laughter. An open bottle of wine stood on the countertop as an honored guest. These moments were captivating and forever burned into his soul. The bottle, fascinating and mysterious.

Decades later, it is my great fortune to be able to experience life as a grandpa, dad, and husband in a beautiful family. We are a very close several generations that share a strong bond of love. It is still in the kitchen that we come together to create a special meal and inspire a lasting memory. There is still that bottle of wine on the countertop, adding an additional layer of depth to our gathering. It seems as though we are always searching for that perfect wine to accompany our celebration.

The first experience with a truly transcendent wine is permanently etched in memory. It was also in a kitchen, while watching an exquisite meal preparation. A dream was born. To produce our own wine that captures the essence of that moment, and allows others the opportunity to connect with a similar experience.

Our wine is the culmination of 10 years of preparation, many failures, and lots of optimism. We are extremely proud of our 2021 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, the first of the past seven harvest years to meet our desired profile.
