We are proud to present our 2021 Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon. Vinified to a profile that is big, bold, and very worthy of aging.
This wine is young and intense. Present enjoyment will benefit from a long decant.
The initial 2024 release will be limited to ten cases. This will provide an opportunity for continued availability as the wine ages over the coming decade to its ideal maturity.
Deep aubergine, purple black to the rim, bright and clear.
Moderately aromatic, youthful, cassis and dark mountain Cabernet fruit, subtle hints of violet flirting with polished toasted oak.
Medium full bodied, rich, viscous, vibrant berry and black currant of elegant ripeness enveloped by dry oak tannins.
Fine grained oak and fruit mingle in a fairly long smooth and dry finish.
